Although we are an international hospital, Finnish is one of our home languages. Our consultants are Finnish and Finnish-speaking, and all our operating surgeons are Finnish.
At the clinic itself, communication with our medical staff is mainly in English.

Do I need to stay overnight in Estonia for surgery?
Many procedures are day surgery, meaning you can come to Tallinn on the morning ferry and return to Finland in the evening. Some procedures may require overnight stay in the hospital or in a patient hotel near our clinic. During the consultation, you'll learn more about the specific course of your surgery.

What patient documents do I need to bring with me?
Don't stress unnecessarily, we'll help you gather the right documents. Depending on the procedure, you'll need:
- laboratory test results and
- imaging study results
- referral or doctor's statement of the assessment and decision made about the procedure, and other relevant information required by the treatment facility
Also, any preliminary decision granted by Kela and possible financing decision should be available at the latest on the day of the procedure.
